Watch our DOF Values Inspiration Video here Requirements  Due to continuous growth and the requirement support our projects we are looking for a Structural Engineer who has experience of   Structural steel design for a dynamic marine environment Seafastening design, including design and analysis of grillages, winch bases, lay spreads and work platforms to DNV standards Performing analysis of allowable stress of structures to AISC ASD 9th ed or similar. Lifting equipment design / checks according to DNV codes Installation aid design and analysis Ship structure knowledge an advantage Understanding of steel fabrication methods and standards, including welding. Ability to perform hand (spreadsheet) calculations as well as use tools such as FEA and beam / column modellers 2D and 3D CAD skills Excellent written reporting skills Use of software such as: ANSYS FEA Space Gass (frame modeller) MS Excel and Word Benefits Will be discussed during recruitment process
