Job description Group Transport Manager Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday Office Based in person Covering multiple sites across the UK, Northallerton Based Pay £35,000+ TBD Benefits: * On-site parking About the Role: Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Fleet Manager to drive excellence in the daily Transport operation including supporting line Manager's with Vehicle issues, maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy, implementing safety and compliance standards and demonstrating an innovative approach to improving operational processes. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure Compliance: The company's fleet operations to guarantee adherence to all relevant legal, safety, and operational standards. * Regulatory Oversight: Manage compliance across key areas, including Vehicle maintenance, Driver conduct, Licensing requirements, Tachograph management, DVLA standards * Risk Minimisation: Play a critical role in identifying and reducing compliance-related risks. * Operator Licence Maintenance: Maintain full compliance with operator licence obligations. * Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in both safety protocols and operational performance. Key Skills: * Experience in managing vehicles and team communication * Experience within a compliance / management role within Fleet / logistics * Previous Vehicle mechanical and electrical experience * Knowledge of fleet and vehicle compliance, maintenance and DVLA standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £35,000.00 per year Benefits: * Language training provided * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Reference ID: Transport Expected start date: 01/08/2025
