




**Job Description** We are currently looking for a highly motivated mid-level FEA engineer with a BS/MS and least 5 (preferably 10) years of work experience, at a fast paced, internationally growing organization with a start-up culture. In this role, you will participate in a wide range of real-world consulting projects including the design, analysis, and optimization of turbomachinery components. **Why you should apply:** * Hands-on experience in real consulting projects * Challenge yourself in a supportive environment. * Wonderful benefits package including profit sharing, generous paid off time, and flexible schedule. **Responsibilities:** * Create finite element models of complex components (rotating and stationary) and assemblies for structural analysis. * Perform static steady state / transient, modal, shock, and fatigue analyses for turbomachinery components such as blades, impellers, rotors, casings, etc. * Analyze results for stress, strain, displacement, modes, etc. and conclude on machine reliability. * Prepare final reports, formal documentation, and presentation materials summarizing analysis results and presenting results internally and to clients. * Support FEA software development group and deliver software demonstrations to prospective and current clients. **Qualifications**: * BS / MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science. * 5 -- 10 years of experience in Structural Analysis * Solid knowledge of strength and structural vibrations. * Understanding of structural analysis methods (including FEA). * Proficient with commercial finite element analysis programs preferable ANSYS Mechanical and/or Siemens Simcenter * Knowledge of CAD tools is preferred. * Background in turbomachinery components mechanical analysis is preferred. * Ability to work independently and develop advanced technical principles, techniques, and concepts. **Job Type: Full-time**
