**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with a strong background in machine maintenance and installation in industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems in an industrial setting, including the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery. * Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents. * Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime. * Diagnose electrical faults and repair industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, control panels, and PLC systems (not essential). * Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards. * Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades or new installations. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment efficiency and reliability. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as an electrician in industry, particularly with machine maintenance and installation. * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. * 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor controls. * Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. * Excellent troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations.
