ABOUT THE ROLE You will be a member of an experienced Building Consultancy team that will carry out a wide range of roles including contract and project work to professional services including TDD , dilapidation's and fire safety. The role will require regular and direct communication with institutional fund management clients, landlords, consultants and tenants. Key clients include Columbia Threadneedle, Hammerson, M&G, Lansec, BlackRock, and Federated Hermes. WHAT MATTERS MOST IN THIS ROLE Building and maintaining close professional relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues is paramount to your success. Pro-activeness and using your initiative will be encouraged. You will manage multiple building surveying instructions simultaneously for a range of key clients. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work within set timelines and provide regular client updates along the journey. Understanding the client brief and delivering on their expectations is fundamental to your success. Clients will lean on your professional advice and support with schedules of dilapidation's, pre-acquisition surveys, due diligence, development monitoring, defect diagnosis, fire safety advise, and schedules of condition reports. You can be preforming the role of a designer, contract administrator, project manager or a hybrid of all three. Other duties will include: Successfully manage the project process from inception to completion. Working with landlords and tenants on their ESG initiatives to ensure you are advising and delivering on the most environmental and sustainable methods and materials. Working with team members and sharing in assisting in developing less experienced members of the team as well as taking up leadership roles. Develop a strategic view on the live cycle of the property asset and understanding the clear objectives of the client brief. Be available and present to assist in opportunities in the business and be keen to progress your career. Motivate and manage a small team of surveyors from apprentice, graduate and surveyor and help support them with their further studies. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU A proactive, practical, and positive approach to work is required. Excellent and professional communication skills with the ability to build a good reputation amongst clients is also paramount. You will be an MRICS chartered surveyor. To support our continued growth we are looking for a Fire Door Installers and Fire Stopping Installers to join our team. **Key Roles and Responsibilities** As a Fire Door Installer and Fire Stopping Installers, your responsibilities will include: * Installation of fire door sets * All aspects of fire door maintenance * Working on your own as well as part of a team, working closely with others to solve problems as and when they arise * Liaising with colleagues and managers on a daily basis * Carrying out fire door assessments and record findings * Ability to interpret and adhere to the manufacturer's specifications, ensuring that compliance is always at the forefront of all works **Person Specification:** To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes: * Previous experience working as a carpenter * Experience of working in the social housing/health/high street sector * Be able to communicate effectively and courteously with work colleagues * An understanding of the importance of compliant installation within the fire safety sector * NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience * A good awareness and understanding of Health \& Safety on site * Ability to diagnose/problem solve * Previous trade experience * Reliable * CSCS Card (Desirable) * Full toolkit to carry out the works required A Disclosure and Barring Services check will be carried out.

**Overview** We are seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves various tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining structures, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety. **Duties** * Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. * Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks. * Perform masonry work as required for specific projects. * Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and repair. * Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. * Lift heavy materials and equipment as necessary for construction tasks. * Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with tools and equipment. **Qualifications** * Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. * Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment relevant to carpentry. * Experience with masonry techniques is advantageous. * A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not essential. * Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for long periods. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings accurately. * Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. * A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry.
