**Job Overview** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team; on a bank basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others. **Responsibilities** * Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. * Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed. * Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary. * Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. * Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes. * Foster a supportive and friendly environment that promotes independence and dignity. **Experience** * Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. * A strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. * Familiarity with creating or following care plans is advantageous. * A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of those in your care is essential.
