**Job Summary** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to residents in a nursing home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. **Responsibilities** * Assist resident's with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. * Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. * Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. * Maintain accurate records of resident's progress and report any changes in condition to the Nursing team. * Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents. * Assist with basic IT tasks related to resident's documentation and communication. **Qualifications** * Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. * Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. * An understanding of how to support residents living with dementia is advantageous. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * Competence in following care plans and adapting to individual resident needs. * Proficiency in IT skills for maintaining resident records and documentation.
