**Overview** We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a person 25+ as the vehicles are on a fleet insurance, excellent communication skills and the ability to Drive a van and be able to lift heavy goods (25kg). As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, contributing to the smooth running of our warehouse activities. **Duties** * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements. * Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. * Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. * Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. * Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance on vehicles when necessary. * Dealing with cash, when delivering or purchasing goods. * Sunday work is essential **Qualifications** * Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. * Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance tasks is desirable. * Experience driving a van * A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
