In this role you will work within the Aero Development Team, employing cutting-edge techniques to deliver aerodynamic performance to the race car. This will involve analysing computational and wind tunnel data and fostering innovation throughout the design and development process. Deliver aerodynamic performance to the race car, by analysing CFD and wind tunnel data as well as innovating throughout the design and development process Build an understanding of the aerodynamic structures and behaviours around the race car Work with management groups to construct a mutually agreed and communicated aerodynamic development plan Suggest, investigate and, where applicable, implement new methods and processes to improve efficiency of aerodynamic ideas generation, design, testing, analysis, and reporting Contribute to collaborative discussions and efforts to improve whole-car performance, offering ideas and taking on board feedback from others Communicate key findings, opportunities and threats to the Lead Engineer Occasional travel may be required as part of this role Requirements Driven by high performance What do you need to bring to the team? A degree in a relevant discipline (Aerodynamics/Aeronautics) or similar  Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry Good understanding of the Formula One® Technical Regulations Good knowledge of CFD methods and analysis of CFD data Experience in directly contributing to aerodynamic development Experience in planning, organizing and managing aerodynamic development projects against pre-agreed targets Good knowledge with 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA) Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors Communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture A team like no other.
