Engineering Trainer (PLC)
**Location:** Coventry
**Job Purpose**
We are seeking a passionate and skilled **Engineering Trainer** to deliver high quality training with a focus on electrical bias within our apprenticeship programs. You will ensure compliance with Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs. Additionally, you will provide training on subjects within your expertise.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver high-quality engineering training using Siemens PLC equipment.
* Provide effective training at levels 2, 3, and HNC, developing independent learners.
* Create and develop learning content and apprenticeship trailblazer schemes of work.
* Ensure learner workplace health, safety, and welfare in collaboration with the DSL.
* Monitor learner progress and tailor support for timely apprenticeship completion.
* Continuously improve training delivery through innovative teaching methods.

* Customer and quality focused, approachable, and discreet with sensitive information.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Strong presentation skills and capable of engaging various audiences.
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
* Commitment to promoting the safety and well-being of children and young people.
**Required Qualifications \& Experience**
**Essential:**
* Industry-related qualifications (e.g., L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree).
* Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
**Desirable:**
* 18th Edition Certification.
* CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
* Recognized Training/Teaching Qualification.
* Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
