***Status*** * Edtech company is very much a start-up (Beta launch in Sep '24) * However, growing very fast / already cash-generative \& in profit * Has been no PR or social launch event/moment ***Scope / Responsibilities*** * The scope / JD is that of PR Asso Dir/ Director with a focus on Corp Comms \> **Strategic Comms Mgmt**\> Create \& roll-out a 12-month corp comms plan to mirror the biz plan / forecast \> **Corp Messaging \& Content Development**\> Crystalise core messaging around brand \& offer to be reflected across all comms activity \& materials \> **Media Relations**\> Build \& maintain relationships with key journalists across all core target media / serve as primary comapany contact \> **Media Training**\> Oversee training (via external partner) of STAI board to ensure consistency \& competence in all external comms \> **Issue Monitoring**\> Identify, then monitor key issues across news agenda -- looking for daily spokesperson opps (to put forward STAI founders) \> **Event Targeting**\> speaker opps / platforms \> **Public Affairs**\> targeting key policy makers / govt depts / committees / NGOs \> **Major Announcements**\> Manage presentation and release/announcement of annual results / threshold KPIs etc \> **Stakeholder Engagement**\> Create template schedule to ensure consistent \& routine engagement \& comms to investors / partners \> **Proactive News Gen**\> developing stories to communicate service in creative ways \> **Team Mgmt**\> Manage and mentor social media \& PR specialist (to be hired after first 6-12 months) \> **Reporting** \> Agree, track and report to board on weekly \& monthly basis vs agreed KPIs as barometer of effectiveness of PR / Comms activity * As regards qualifications / experience: \> **At 10+ years of experience, with at least 5yrs Assoc Dir or above** \> Demonstrable **track record delivering against the above roles** \> **Attention to detail** \> **Tenacious** and **results-driven** \> **Personabl**e ***Offices*** - They're a start-up / just launched in Sep / likely getting offices in next 12 months - would allow for an IRL meeting every 2 weeks until then (central London) * Three days a week, initially 6 months ideally going perm.
