We are looking for a Security Systems Engineer specialising in the temporary security market. Your main focus will be the installation, removal, and maintenance of our bespoke systems: mobile CCTV towers (solar-powered), security PODs, and internal alarm systems primarily using Ajax, Victron, Hikvision, and Dahua hardware. You'll need experience with these manufacturers, solid fault-finding skills, confidence dealing with customers, and the ability to design temporary security setups tailored to each job. Expect travel, overnight stays, and the expectation that you'll fully learn the end-to-end process for each product. Key Responsibilities * Install, commission, maintain, and remove mobile CCTV towers (solar, Victron, Hikvision, Dahua, Ajax), security PODs (Ajax), and internal alarm systems (Ajax).• Diagnose faults and repair or swap hardware as needed, independently.• Design temporary security solutions based on customer requirements and site needs.• Train customers on system use and basic troubleshooting.• Handle all job documentation accurately and on time.• Maintain a professional, solutions-focused attitude with all clients.• Willingness to travel, work away from home, and adapt to changing job sites. * Hands-on experience with Ajax, Victron, Hikvision, Dahua (install, maintain, fault-find).• Direct experience with temporary or mobile security systems (not just fixed installs).• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Able to work without hand-holding.• Customer-facing confidence; able to explain systems and answer questions clearly.• Full UK driving licence.• ECS Competency Card• Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays.• Able to work solo and as part of a small, tight-knit team.
