This position requires effective leadership skills to supervise kitchen staff and maintain a harmonious working atmosphere. **Duties** * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. * Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served. * Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills. * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. * Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and seasonal offerings. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. * Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. * Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently. **Experience** * Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. * Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and presentation styles. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen. * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. * Strong communication skills to interact with staff, management, and customers as needed. * A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
