The Oaks Care Home is a care home for clients with learning disabilities. We are looking for a full time care assistant to cover 35 hours per week, plus 1 sleep in required for day shifts. The job role covers personal hygiene, assisting in and out of bed, domestic duties, escorting clients on outings and medical appointments. The role will also involve medication administration. Full training will be provided. A 3 month probationary period is to be completed prior to a permanent contract. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the successful applicant, who will be required to undergo a DBS check Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour, depending on age. Meets NMW. COVID-19 considerations: Masks are worn at all times in the event of an outbreak as well as full PPE is used when attending to clients personal hygiene.
