Book Club: Whale Fall

Welcome to the popcorn and pages monthly book club. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Burleigh Arms, 9-11 Newmarket Rd, Cambridge, CB5 8EG. We're an informal, social group, with around 15 individuals attending each meeting. There is no expectation of 'serious' debate and the ethos is very open, respectful and friendly. If you're interested in coming along and have not yet read or finished the book, don't worry, you won't be alone. **Don't worry if it says it's full - feel free to come along anyway! People often drop-out 'last minute'.** We discuss the book choice for about an hour or so, before taking suggestions for later reads. Everyone is welcome to stay on for a drink and general chat afterwards. We always pick our books two months in advance to allow as much time as possible to read them.
