If you are ready to be part of our exciting journey, we are looking for a Hygiene Operator to join our dedicated team in Chatteris. **Hygiene Operator** As a Hygiene Operator, you will play a vital part in ensuring our Hygiene Room and Production Area meet the highest standards of cleanliness during deep cleaning activities. Your work will directly support our commitment to food safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction, all while operating in compliance with legal requirements and company policies. **Key responsibilities** * Perform thorough cleaning of equipment, utensils, and production areas according to cleaning schedules and procedures. * Inspect equipment during the cleaning process and report any damage or safety concerns to the Hygiene Lead Operator. * Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment (e.g. pressure washers, chemical dosing units). * Monitor chemical stock levels and ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning materials. * Complete cleaning documentation accurately, including logs and inspection records. * Empty and clean waste bins and maintain overall hygiene in designated areas. * Follow personal hygiene standards and support "Clean As You Go" practices. * Assist with dismantling, cleaning, and re-assembling equipment as needed. * Carry out other hygiene-related duties as instructed by senior staff. **Experience / Skills** * Previous experience in a hygiene role, ideally in a food production or manufacturing setting. * Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures. * Comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling chemicals safely. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude. * Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to business needs. **Benefits:** * Early opportunity to be with an ambitious progressive company. * High quality training provided and career development opportunities. * Heavily discounted turmeric shots.
