The EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting other engineers in delivering design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. This will include full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. Tasks could include: Delivering design project deliverables.  Covering the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision. Responsibility for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project. Requirements Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members. Ability to independently seek out or develop own answer to challenging technical questions. Ability to organise own time and the time of others to ensure internal / external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded. Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering. Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience. Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable. Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site. AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.  AutoCad design. Hold a minimum of ‘SC’ UK Security Clearance, or willing to obtain.
