The Starting Well 0-19 Service are looking to appoint a permanent starting Well Nursery Worker working in the Chester and Chester Rural District, Post holder will be expected to work flexibly within the District they are appointed to and if needed support colleagues across districts. The post holder must have access to transport as commuting for community contacts in family homes and within the many Starting Well Children's Centres venues is essential. The role will support a new way of working where discreet pieces of work are delegated to a Starting Well Nursery Worker by our Health Visitors - to ensure the right level of support for each family at the right time. Post holder would become part of a unique integrated service, supporting delivery of key elements of the Health Child Programme to Cheshire West and Chester Children, Young People and their Families (CYPF) on behalf of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS foundation trust (CWP). The successful candidate should be able to provide accurate advice and support that enables children, their families and carers to maximise their health, wellbeing and potential to learn and lead in clinical activity such Open Advice Clinics and Developmental checks. The post holders are expected to manage discreet allocation in relation to parenting support with key topics being toilet training, bedtime routines and mealtimes. It is essential that candidates demonstrate a commitment to multi agency/collaborative and integrated team working. The laboratory, which is HTA and JACIE accredited, provides specialist clinical and technical services to support our busy transplant programmes. The Stem cell department is involved in ATIMPs and gene therapy treatments. This is a small team dedicated to meeting the current clinical demands on the service, developing the next generation of processing techniques for the Stem Cell Therapeutics Laboratory. Our Stem Cell Therapeutics Laboratory is based at our Oxford Road Campus and is an integral part of the Trust's Haematology/Oncology stem cell transplant programe. The laboratory, which is HTA and JACIE accredited, provides specialist clinical and technical services to support these busy transplant program.
