Our farmhouse, yurt and holiday cottages are used for supporting people with learning disabilities on group holidays alongside some general holiday makers, short term lets to local people and group stays.\r\n \r\nAbout the Role: We are looking for a new caretaker to join our small friendly team. You will need to be reliable, honest and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and pride in your work. Experience in building maintenance, general repairs and grounds work is required. You will need to be physically fit to perform manual tasks and outdoor work.\r\n\r\nYour Responsibilities \r\nAs a Caretaker, you will:\r\n·         Grounds - trimming hedges, cutting grass, planting and weeding, maintaining fencing\r\n·         Accommodation – general repairs, basic plumbing, decoration and window cleaning.\r\n·         Completing health and safety checks\r\n·         Maintain cleanliness across the site, including grounds, gullies, driveways, and entrances.\r\n·         Liaise with external contractors to ensure high quality repairs and maintenance\r\n·         Be part of the out-of-hours on-call rota for guests (additional payment if living off-site)\r\n·         Uphold site security\r\n \r\nLive On-site Option – you could choose to live on site in a newly renovated self-contained cottage (one double and a small single) for a discounted rental payment of £500 per month inclusive of utilities. Our farmhouse, yurt and holiday cottages are used for supporting people with learning disabilities on group holidays alongside some general holiday makers, short term lets to local people and group stays.   About the Role: We are looking for a new caretaker to join our small friendly team. You will need to be reliable, honest and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and pride in your work. Experience in building maintenance, general repairs and grounds work is required. You will need to be physically fit to perform manual tasks and outdoor work. Your Responsibilities As a Caretaker, you will: ·         Grounds - trimming hedges, cutting grass, planting and weeding, maintaining fencing ·         Accommodation – general repairs, basic plumbing, decoration and window cleaning. ·         Completing health and safety checks ·         Maintain cleanliness across the site, including grounds, gullies, driveways, and entrances. ·         Liaise with external contractors to ensure high quality repairs and maintenance ·         Be part of the out-of-hours on-call rota for guests (additional payment if living off-site) ·         Uphold site security   Live On-site Option – you could choose to live on site in a newly renovated self-contained cottage (one double and a small single) for a discounted rental payment of £500 per month inclusive of utilities. In return we would expect you to keep an eye on our site when the office is closed, be available to help our guests out with any problems most weekday evenings and some weekends on a rota basis (available on phone and remaining within a 45 min drive) A couple would be considered and a small, well-behaved dog/cat would be acceptable but this position is not suitable for people with children. Paid, regular cleaning work is also available if a couple. About the role: As a Site Operative at LondonEnergy, you will have a strong customer service background and will act as the first point of contact to the public, providing a professional service by giving advice, direction, and assistance, ensuring that waste is received and deposited correctly.  Key Responsibilities: Operations Delivering a consistent high level of customer service, working to the company standards and contract requirements. Assisting members of public, where safe and appropriate to do so, and overseeing the sorting and safe disposal of customers waste and recycling materials. Advising on the correct segregation of waste and recycling into relevant containers / storage areas. Monitoring and directing traffic movements within the facility. Carry out general site duties including housekeeping of site grounds, buildings and staff facilities. Operate the site in line with current company policies and procedures General To carry out other appropriate duties at a similar level at the designated site/sites or other company sites as required Requirements Reliable and punctual Able to work as part of a team. Flexible approach may be required to learn other roles within the site to ensure effective operating procedures. Must be willing to learn operations and undergo appropriate training.
