




My client is a fast-growing direct to business lender in the UK, founded in 2020. They built a bespoke tech platform which allows for easy and accurate decision making that enables an application, approval and funding to all take place within 1-2 days. It's a career driven organization with lots of chance to progress and learn along the way whilst being apart of an exciting period of growth They have seen over 180% of lending deals coming from Broker channel already this year which is fantastic \& with them having a really strong broker offering in the market they are now recruiting a new BDE role to focus on engaging new brokers to start working with them! There are lots of brokers who may introduce the odd deal, may know about them but not fully understand the product and are ready to be targeted by a talented BDE who can build long standing relationships \& convert them into active broker partners who are introducing high volumes of lending **Responsibilities and duties** **will include:** * Reach out to all inactive brokers via Phone, Email, Linkedin. To educate them on product \& how it would benefit their SME clients and how they can start submitting leads * Re-engage with inactive Brokers via Marketing, eg * Sharing success stories from similar brokers * Stats on turnaround times, examples of deals, commission earned etc * Broker-only insights: Share data like "top industries we're approving this month" or "biggest reasons deals are declined." * Bonus/Promo's * Ongoing training/education: Short webinars or videos on product updates, best-fit borrower profiles, and underwriting guidelines. * Handle 'Live Chat' queries from our site to discuss deals/ educate -- The more knowledge they have, the more lending they will introduce! * Build a Consistent Relationship Loop for "Tier 2" Brokers: * Regular check-ins: Monthly calls * Birthday/anniversary recognition: Simple, personal touches go a long way in reinforcing loyalty * Show Appreciation eg Thank-you gifts after major milestones (first deal, largest deal to date etc.) * You will be focused on the outreach to Brokers, once they start introducing lending they will then be passed into the Broker BDM Team -- You will earn commission on the first 5 deals each new broker introduces. **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Previous SME Lending experience within a Broker or a Lender * Proven outbound sales success if with SME business themselves or Brokers / introducers * Creative mindset, keen to bring new ideas to the table * Team player, enjoys being in an energetic office environment **For more information please apply now!**
