**Job Description:** As a Support Worker at Artek you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals to help them live independently, safely, and happily. Your role is key in promoting their physical and emotional well-being, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes or supported living environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting * Help with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping * Support clients in attending appointments and community activities * Administer or assist with medication following care plans * Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition * Encourage independence and positive social interactions * Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with care standards * Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff **Skills for this Job:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Compassionate and empathetic approach * Ability to handle challenging situations calmly * Good time management and reliability * Strong observation and reporting skills * Team player with a flexible and proactive mindset **Qualification:** * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) * Previous experience in care or support work (desirable but not essential) * Valid UK driving licence (preferred but not mandatory) * Enhanced DBS check required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year Shift: * Day shift Work days: * Monday to Friday Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: #SUPPORT22
