
**Job Overview** We are seeking a friendly, professional and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our ability to cater to a diverse clientele. **Duties** * Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression. * Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and room assignments. * Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions. * Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software. * Handle phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary. * Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay. * Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of service is maintained. * Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and organisation at the reception area. **Qualifications** * Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour and the ability to work well under pressure. * Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software; familiarity with booking systems is a plus. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * A keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
