**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the hotel. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. We are able to provide local accommodation but it is recommended you have a car due to the nature of the island. **Duties** * Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. * Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. * Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. * Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. * Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. * Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment. **Qualifications** * Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the establishment's needs.
