As well as holding a Five Star Rating from the British Safety Council, FirstPort is an accredited Safe Agent and belongs to The Property Ombudsman. **Main Responsibilities** * Maintain a high profile around the development / office, ensure our residents are checked within our requirements. * Carry out daily checks ensuring the building is safe and secure, Maintain records in line with internal procedures, ensure all data is protected and kept secure at all times. Keeping all communal areas, gardens and grounds clean and maintained through effective management of contractors. * Be responsible for all works being completed, raising orders, managing contractors, monitoring progress and signing off completion. * Encourage and support the formation of a Residents Association, and work with them to enhance the customer experience for residents, Helping build a sense of community by encouraging and supporting a Social Committee to plan and run social events for all residents. * Build and maintain links with resident's family members, local authorities; Doctors, Social Workers, Health Authority etc as required and appropriate. * In the event of an emergency, call the appropriate response team or authorities. * Assist with sales listed with our partner company Retirement Homesearch, make new residents feel welcome and help them settle in; where possible being present to welcome them. * Work across your local peer team of Development Managers for advice and day to day support and travel to team / company meetings on a monthly / annual basis **About you** * **Customer service** - a passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times, ideally in a face to face environment. * **Communication**- a natural communicator, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively * **Health \& Safety** - an understanding of the importance of health \& safety, experience of dealing with challenging or emergency situations * **IT**- able to operate Microsoft Office applications, and confident in learning new systems * **Administration** - organised, methodical and experience of keeping accurate records * **Personal**- an outgoing personality, with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers, self-motivated, pro-active, team oriented, and innovative. **The Benefits** Our customers deserve the best and the same applies to our people. EAP Telephone Counsellor Hybrid Role - GLASGOW Salary range £26,000 to £30,000 based on full time hours of 37.5. Part time hours will be pro rata salary. You will be: For the main part of the role, carrying out Initial Clinical Assessments/Triage of client needs, leading to appropriate clinical pathways, delivering a range of support in our Pathway, which involves Booked Assessment Appointments, In The Moment Support or Booked Single Sessions via telephone and/or video calls. Carrying out Risk Assessments and following the Safeguarding and Risk Protocol process. Managing a caseload of clients requiring Structured Counselling, which will depend on your contractual hours, as well as the needs of the service. Writing brief, accurate and concise clinical notes, of all interactions. Integrated into our Support Line Team. Requirements Able to work a minimum of 22.5 hrs per week (at least 1 day shift based in-office, Glasgow, which is mandatory.) We currently have vacancies for the following range of shifts: Midnight - 6am (Home) plus one office weekday, day shift Weekend shifts (Home) plus one office weekday, day shift. We have a range of hours/shifts and can consider permanent weekend shifts, if preferable to you, for a work/life balance. Part time is pro rata salary. In addition, dependent on your agreed shift pattern, you may be required to be able to cover at least 1 weekend shift (7.5 hours) and 1 overnight sleeping shift from your home, per month, (when not on the midnight-6am shift pattern). Be qualified as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (L4 and above in Counselling) with BACP/COSCA (or similar) registered status. Have good IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Have a strong clinical background, with excellent Assessment skills. Able to make sound Clinical decisions, whilst holding Boundaries. Be a keen team-player with excellent time management, clinical, communication and organisation skills. Keep in mind the needs of clients and the service whilst working under pressure. Able to work in a busy environment. Having previous EAP/Telephone Counselling or time limited assessment experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
