ARIC Brown Bag Session: Squeezed light for quantum sensing

High-precision laser-based measurements face limitations from photon shot noise. The conventional solution to increase optical powers improves the signal-to-noise ratio, but can damage biological samples, affect mechanical devices with heat, necessitate extra laser safety measures, and have economic constraints.
