W.E Roberts is offering the exciting opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join our leading corrugated cardboard manufacturing firm based in Northfleet. The right candidate will have previous Class 2 driving experience \& hold a current licence/ CPC and Drivers card. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be part of a HGV team, delivering to our customers across Southern England. You will need to have a good understanding of the English language; both written and spoken, flexible attitude towards weekend working/ overtime to meeting the changing needs of the business. Key Requirements for the role: · You must have a relevant HGV Class 2 licence, digital tacho card and CPC qualification · Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with clients \& employees. · Good attention to detail especially in terms of paperwork · Ability to work safely and efficiently, observing all Health and Safety Requirements · Ensuring that all deliveries are completed within the required time limits where possible, without compromising on Customer Service or safety. · Ensuring that all safety/maintenance checks are carried out, reporting all faults as well as keeping vehicles clean and tidy. In return for the right candidate, we are offering; · A competitive salary. overtime is paid at 1.5 rate of pay. Start time will vary between 5am - 9am, however will generally be 6am start.
