**Overview**
Adel Tap is an independent bar situated in the neighbourhood of Adel, North Leeds. The bar is focussed on delivering a quality social and drinking experience for customers as well as hosting small scale events and gatherings.
We are looking for a highly motivated manager who is well organised and skilled in delivering exceptional customer service in a hospitality setting.
As the bar manager you will work in conjunction with the owners to implement the business plan and be responsible for managing the bar and a small team.
**Duties**
Key responsibilities and requirements will include;
* Training and supervising members of the bar team to deliver excellent customer service and drinks to a high standard.
* Have strong communication skills.
* Have knowledge and experience of Cask ale, beer, wines, spirits and cocktails in order to deliver and maintain an exciting drinks offer.
* Closely monitor stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders to maintain an adequate supply of beverages, glassware, and bar supplies.
* Handle customer enquiries, resolving any complaints, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and cellar ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
* Be responsible for additional bar staff recruitment and shift planning.
* Be able to maintain a calm demeanour during busy periods
* Be well organised, driven and creative
* Have a basic knowledge of being able to operate a computer and fill in a standard spreadsheet
* Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays
* Be a Personal Licence Holder
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a proven track record of leading and managing people within a licensed trade business.
The role could be a perfect opportunity for someone looking to break through to their first supervisor/management role having worked as a team leader or supervisor in a similar style of bar operation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 -- 45 per week
