We're hiring a **Group Operations Engineer (Mechanical)** to join a leading global data centre provider at their Corporate Office in London. This is a unique opportunity to step into a global role, where you'll help shape and improve mechanical operational processes across a world-class portfolio of mission-critical data centres. **What you'll be doing:** ✅ Define, implement, and improve global mechanical operations procedures ✅ Support site-based operations teams across Europe \& APAC ✅ Lead root cause analysis and incident investigations ✅ Drive energy efficiency and mechanical system optimisation strategies ✅ Develop training programmes and policies to enhance operational performance ✅ Ensure compliance with health \& safety, local regulations, and operational standards ✅ Research and introduce best-in-class maintenance strategies and technologies **What we're looking for:** Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) Proven experience in managing mechanical systems in critical environments Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance strategies Experience in technical investigations \& continuous improvement initiatives Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills Data centre or high-availability environment experience (desirable) Membership of a recognised engineering body (desirable) **Why join?** You'll be part of a global leader in data centre infrastructure, working on large-scale, high-availability sites.
