Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team at Hollybank House. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, contributing to their overall happiness and health. You must be a driver for this role.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents' health conditions.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
* Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their health status.
* Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in learning disability care.
**Requirements**
* Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature are vital.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to learning disability care is an advantage.
* A relevant qualification in health or social care would be beneficial.
