You will have the ability to issue PTW, ensuring compliance with method statements, risk assessments **Duties to include:** * Operational understanding of all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre in a competent, and confident manner (Biased towards Electrical within the facility). Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required. * Ensure that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed efficiently, and quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the duty Shift Leader/Assist Chief Engineer. * To provide backup as engineering shift relief cover in the event of annual leave, training or other absence within the engineering team. The main responsibilities of this role are to assist the multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient and effective ophthalmic service. Duties include performing various ophthalmic investigations including visual field, OCT, eye pressure and visual acuity testing, which assesses the visual function of patients attending the eye clinic. The role also includes ocular imaging and day to day administrative tasks. A key element is to assist medical teams in providing gold standard patient care. The role involves meeting and interacting with patients in a friendly and professional manner. This role helps ensure the smooth running of ophthalmic clinics, ensuring that the medical workforce is free to make clinical decisions on the next steps in the patient's pathway. It also enables a virtual clinical review, where the technician can perform the ophthalmic imaging and in a different virtual session the doctor can complete a virtual review of the patient, ensuring that more patients can be reviewed by the doctor than in a face-to-face clinic and the patient does not experience long waits to see the doctor in clinic. Undertake a range of pre-defined procedures, for which specific training has been given under the direction of the Senior Ophthalmic Imager or Registered Nurse. To carry out all tests to a high standard, ensuring the individual needs of patients are met, maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity, acting in the patients' best interests at all times.
