First Steps Nursery (Lowton WA3 2RD) is seeking to employ a Level 3 qualified (or above) nursery practitioner to work in one of our busy under 2 rooms due to a sudden increase in numbers over the next few months. Candidates must have a recognised Level 3 or above childcare qualification and experience of working in a baby room would be an advantage. You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved. The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential! You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required. You must be able to remain focused in environments with high noise levels. The ability to remember the names of many children, their parents, siblings, grandparents, pets and special soft toys is a key component of this job. This is something that will be developed over time! Finally you must be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one. First Steps Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to have a new DBS unless on the update system. You will complete all mandatory training courses within nursery.
