You will** **:** ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== * Review study tasks daily to assess staffing needs, scheduling team members accordingly to always meet study specific requirements. * Develop and maintain detailed shift rotas covering over 50 colleagues from various teams (physicians, nurses, Lab Techs, screening, etc.) * Manage emergencies swiftly ensuring the clinic is always staffed. * Coordinate with the Planning Team and the Clinic´s Leadership to align staffing needs with project timelines. * Contribute to weekly logistics meetings, discussing staffing needs and study requirements. **Additionally, you may take vital signs and ECG, as per project needs.** **WHO YOU ARE** =================================================================================================== Clinical background is a plus, but not required - we have a **robust training program in place** for you to learn the specifics of our operations-. What we need is you bring experience as a **operations coordinator** , **planner** or **scheduler** performing **rota or workloads planning** and **shift scheduling**, ideally for large teams. Where you may have gained your planning expertise? In industries such as: * Gas, telecommunications, transportation, water, repair, hospitality, etc. Also key is your: * **Accuracy** , **attention to detail** and **ability to work under pressure**. We must always ensure the dignity and safety of participants. In our clinical environment last-minute changes are common, so you will need to assemble the right team to respond quickly and effectively. * **Confidence** (i.e. being comfortable, for instance, asking colleagues to adjust shifts or take on additional work at a short notice.) * MS Office Suite proficiency, especially in **Excel** as you will use it daily for running reports. Excel skills with **formulas** and formatting are important in this job. * Educated to GCSE level. The role For teaching delivery, Sheffield Institute of Education (SIoE) is organised into varied subject areas. We are interested in applications for the Secondary Education area with a specialism in Secondary Design Technology (DT). The DT course develops students to teach at Key Stage 3 \& 4 with post-16 enrichment. You will teach on the PGCE Secondary Design Technology with QTS courses across the Provider-led and Lead Partner (LP) routes. The PGCE Secondary DT with QTS course recruits across both Lead Partner and Sheffield Hallam-led routes. Your role will include responsibility for teaching, learning and assessment of students at post-graduate level. You will also work with our partners who provide trainee education placements. Staff members with the appropriate DT experience and qualifications may be asked to contribute to Primary ITT, other related teaching at Masters and Undergraduate level, school visits and academic advising. We also encourage staff to continue to develop their own research profile and there are varied opportunities and support to do this for all academic staff.
