The role, or particular start dates, may close when suitable candidates are found Location: This role is available in our Global Headquarters in Cambridge, as well as our London and Manchester offices About the Role Our Analyst/Medical Writer Internship is ideal for current students and recent graduates in scientific disciplines, eager to gain valuable insights into life at a leading healthcare consultancy. You will gain practical experience by contributing to two or three projects during the internship, each of which involve the interpretation, assimilation, and creative presentation of clinical or health economic data. Depending on your team and project allocations, you may work on anything from medical communications to market access and evidence synthesis. Specific tasks may include: The preparation of medical education slides Performing systematic searches of medical literature Developing clinical trial manuscripts Assimilating clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to support HTA submissions to NICE These meaningful and exciting projects contribute to improving healthcare outcomes globally. Interns will receive one-to-one training on the technical aspects of the role and learn about project management and effective communication with clients. Your designation as either an Analyst Intern or Medical Writer Intern will depend on your team allocation; however, the core responsibilities of both roles remain the same. Our teams are generally organised under the service areas of Medical Communications, Value and Access, and Evidence Development, and also encompass specialist areas such as Rare Diseases, MedTech, and Health Policy. If you have a particular interest in any of these service areas, include this in your cover letter. Please note that your team allocation will be confirmed closer to your start date.
