First we will learn how to make fire without the use of modern tools, using a Bow Drill. Of all the friction - fire-starting methods, the bow drill is the most efficient and the easiest to master. This in itself is a rite of passage and initiation.\n\nHeld in sacred silence and in no particular order you will each have 1.5 hours throughout the night and be responsible for holding the sacred fire while the rest of us enter the dream state and sleep cosy around the fire.
