The Door to Door Fundraising Role Our door to door fundraisers are employed by Charity Link on permanent contracts, fulltime or part-time. Door to door fundraising takes place in pre-allocated areas by postcode, visiting specific streets and houses. This role works well for people who prefer to work outside and enjoy a quieter pace. You’ll cover about 1 mile an hour and will be on your feet for your whole shift so we recommend comfortable shoes! Charity-branded uniform is provided as well as an electric tablet to sign up donors. As an Account Manager at ARO, you will play a key role in driving the success and growth of ARO by managing and nurturing regional key client relationships and developing new name business.  This position is vital to ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. The role requires a proactive, client-focused approach, with a focus on building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional service.  You will focus on ARO's core services, including cloud solutions, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking, working closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions. By leveraging industry knowledge and expertise, the Account Manager/Business Development Executive will position ARO as a trusted advisor and partner, helping clients achieve their business objectives.  In addition to client management, this role involves strategic planning and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. The Account Manager/Business Development Executive will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and project implementation. They will also monitor account performance, provide regular updates to senior management, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement whilst proactively building new business pipelines   Please note that this is a home based role with weekly national travel to customer meetings. You will also be required to collaborate with teams in other ARO offices. Experience of selling a wide portfolio of products and services, including cloud solutions, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking Demonstrable new business success Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship building. Ability to implement strategic plans and achieve business goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with high-profile clients and managing complex accounts. Full UK driving license and ability to travel on a regular basis Knowledge of IT solutions, trends, and technology.
