**Overview** **Job Title: Shop Assistant -- Retail (Part-Time)** **Location:** Manchester We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly Retail Assistant with previous retail experience to join our team. **Responsibilities** * Greet and assist customers providing exceptional service and support. * Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring shelves are stocked. * Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. * Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions. * Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks. **Requirements:** * Previous experience working in a retail or convenience store is essential * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy * Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends * Experience using PayPoint, Payzone, and National Lottery terminals is preferred, but not essential --- training can be provided.
