We are looking for a waiter/waitress to join our team! The Cellar at 24 is a new tapas restaurant that opened in November 2024 in the beautiful fishing village of Anstruther. **Responsibilities** * Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience. * Take accurate food and drink orders * Serve food and beverages promptly. * Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests. * Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. * Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations throughout the service process. **Requirements** * Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. * Strong guest services skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer care. * Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous. * Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required.
