BRANSTON WAY MK43 9SS Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating delicious drinks. Duties: - Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate espresso machines and other equipment to brew coffee and prepare beverages - Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records - Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints Experience: - Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee beans is a plus - Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices - Basic maths skills for cash handling Skills: - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in beverage preparation - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively If you are passionate about coffee, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
