**The Service \& Team** We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Appointee \& Deputy Team as a Finance Support Officer. The Appointee \& Deputy team are a dynamic and friendly team within Care \& Wellbeing. The team supports approximately 700 vulnerable adults within Adult Social Care that do not have the capacity to manage their personal finances. **The role** Our Finance Support Officers manage personal finances for people who have been assessed to lack the capacity to do this for themselves using our client management system 'Caspar'. This includes management of incoming benefit entitlement and outgoing financial commitments such as utility payments, personal spend and costs towards care and support using the NatWest systems 'Bankline' and 'Client Monies Service' to facilitate payments. The role involves frequent communication with the people that we support, care providers, Cornwall Council services, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Court of Protection (COP), and other external agencies by telephone, email and face to face contact. You must be able to demonstrate compassion and tact for the people that we support and remain calm and focused under pressure. You will be expected to attend County Hall in Truro each day for up to the first two weeks for your induction and training. You will then attend the office a minimum of once per week going forward until you have completed your probationary period, with adequate notice given for additional in-person attendance as and when it is required. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. About the role Pre-Sales AI Solution Designers collaborate with Tomoro and client teams to define, scope, and propose AI-driven solutions that align with business needs.
