You can expect to play a leading role in: * Listening to our volunteers and staff to then develop and incorporate learning and improvements to the Safety Management System. * Identifying and closing safety competency gaps for our leaders \& managers through training development and delivery. * Working closely with the Safety Policy and Assurance Manager to shape guidance, define performance indicators and help establish an assurance framework to best understand where improvements can be made. You will have the opportunity to build relationships to support, guide and advise individuals on safety leadership, behaviours and performance. You will lead and deliver on an array of different project work packages that will contribute to an enduring improvement in the leadership and management of safety throughout the RNLI. ### **About you** A confident, dynamic and experienced safety professional with a track record of leading or supporting organisational change and enhancing safety management practices. With a strong understanding of health and safety principles and legislation, you thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy engaging with stakeholders at all levels - bringing people together to inspire positive conversations and action around safety.
