**Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils** **Service Area: Service Delivery** **Base: Lewes and Eastbourne Office, with Home Working** **Title: Customer First Resolution Team Advisor Licensing** **Grade: Band C** **Salary: £25,576 to £26,827 a year** **Hours: 37 hours a week** **Contract: Permanent** We are seeking an individual with drive and enthusiasm to join our customer focused Regulatory Services team, who work closely with businesses to deliver our Licensing service across Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council areas. As an Advisor you will: * Provide customer focused advice on a range of Licensing issues. * Interact with customers across multiple channels - phone, letter, email, customer portal and self-service. * Effectively handle cases in conjunction with Specialist Advisors. * Process a range of applications and permissions. * Provide support to a team of Specialists in managing databases, taking responsibility for the quality of data on our IDOX system and updating the system and customers. * Work with other team members to organise and manage workloads effectively, ensuring that all performance standards and targets are achieved. * Review and moderate reports and requests, proactively managing and resolving them where possible or referring them to the relevant team or contractor using processes when required. * Actively develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the councils' processes and procedures. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with unflagging enthusiasm and genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with focus on fulfilling the councils' aims and objectives.
