We have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join our depot in Havant, this position will require you to work 40hours per week, Monday to Friday. No Weekend work or Late Shift work is required at all for this position, offering a great work-life balance. **The role** As Workshop Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the company fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles ensuring all vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired in accordance with Operators Licence requirements. You will also prepare vehicles for annual tests, road test vehicles to certify roadworthiness and attend breakdowns on a rota system. This role is key in ensuring delivery of safe and wholesome drinking water to our consumers. **What will you be doing?** **Key Responsibilities** Visit water treatment works, pumping stations and reservoirs to carry out essential duties and monitor the performance and operability of our assets. Data collection of water quality and asset performance, recording routine activities and work completed. Train and mentor colleagues within Production and other areas of the business, keeping records of competency and continuous improvement. Provide support to colleagues in the field where complex process issues arise. Operate and maintain treatment works assets, monitoring, recording and interpreting water samples to ensure treatment process are working effectively. Monitor external activities in the areas surrounding our assets for anything that may affect the integrity of the water sources or treatment processes. Creating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), carrying out risk assessments, optimising chemical dosing, investigating root causes of water quality issues and advising on corrective actions. Assist with optimising the operation of our production assets to ensure that water quality continues to meet all internal standards and statutory requirements at each treatment stage, whilst optimising energy, quality and performance. Work closely with Process Science and to have collective responsibility for water quality. Ensure the appearance, cleanliness and operation of our sites meets company standards, whilst maintaining water quality and hygiene standards. Ensure all work is carried out in line with the Company's Water Production procedures and in full compliance with on-site Health and Safety and quality standards. **What do you need?** **Skills, Qualifications \& Competencies** Industry water operations related qualification E.g. CABWI Level 4 in Water Operations EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue) Card/SHEA Water (Can be provided if required) An advanced understanding of water treatment and distribution processes, and the regulations that govern them. Experience working with SCADA/HMI process control systems Experience working with chemicals, COSHH awareness Experience working in Medium/High Risk Confined Spaces Excellent report-writing, with an emphasis on clarity and attention to detail, often working to tight deadlines. Due to continued growth we are currently seeking Field Service Engineers to join their team in the Portsmouth or surrounding areas. **What will you be doing?** As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive work on water and wastewater quality monitoring instrumentation, on both large urban and smaller rural wastewater and water supply sites. This is a mobile role, based from home and will involve visiting client's sites to perform service, repair, calibration and verification of instrumentation, and house-keeping duties to include stock management and daily reporting of work. **What do you need?** To be considered for this position it would be advantageous but not necessary for you to have any of the following: Experience working in the water industry -- ICA experience would be preferable but not essential. **Our Engineering team work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our rides and attractions are operational 7 days a week.** **Role:** Engineer **Contract type:** Permanent **Salary:** £43,880 p.a. **Closing date:** 21/07/2025 As part of the Engineering team you will be responsible for completing daily safety inspections and undertaking proactive maintenance to ensure everything operates safely and efficiently. You will also be undertaking remedial work on equipment and machinery as well as supporting our Operations team with any faults or breakdowns which require assistance. We're looking for people who have completed an NVQ3 in Engineering (or similar) and who have a good working knowledge of mechanical engineering. Electrical knowledge and qualifications would be great but not essential. You will need a full UK driving licence and be a confident IT user who is comfortable updating digital maintenance recording systems. You will also need to be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions as not everything fits in our workshop. As part of a 7 day a week operation, our Engineers are required to work on weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. During the winter you will be working 5 days out of 7 and during the summer you will work longer days, 7 days out of 14 meaning more days off in the summer!
