Senior Live Service Designer

Reporting to the Director of Live Service, you will be responsible for in-game revenue and audience metrics by designing meta game systems, rewards and economy that keep players coming back. You’ll partner across disciplines to ship safely and learn fast. Key Duties Include Responsible for the levers that move engagement, retention and ARPU/ARPPU through live systems and content Own monetization targets, setting and tracking monthly revenue, conversion and ARPPU, and driving corrective actions Define sustainable meta systems (progression, season, live events) that scale, respect players time, and reinforce the core game Model and tune the economy (currencies, sources/sinks, pacing, drops) and reward systems (pacing, aspiration, fairness). Set alerts with Analytics and act on them Define pricing bands and shape offer structures, bundles and promotions (including regional considerations) Turn live pillars into shippable features and event templates. Produce clear specs, configs and wireframes with acceptance criteria, edge cases and rollback plans Work cross-functionally (game design, UI/UX, engineering, analytics) to shape and ship live features end-to-end. Plan fail-safes and rollout via CMS/feature flags Specify telemetry requirements for core loops and KPIs (DAU, ARPDAU, retention, funnel) so impact is measurable Requirements Significant experience in live/meta/game systems design, with at least one shipped live update you supported post-launch Strong systems, meta, rewards and balance craft. You turn design intent into bands, templates and clear specs Proven economy design & tuning: currencies, sources/sinks, XP pacing, pricing heuristics. You’ve fixed inflation/deflation and can operate within price/XP/drop bands Proven experience delivering live meta progression (events, seasonal progression, milestone goals) and collection or cosmetic systems, including setting up templates and configuration to scale them A modular, systems-first mindset. You create reusable tools, templates and configuration that keeps content velocity healthy and safe Hands on shipping through data-driven configuration and editor tools, with quick, cross-discipline collaborative iteration, runbooks and calm incident execution Crisp communication including concise specs, plain language explanations and strong cross-discipline alignment Sound monetisation judgement and player value sense across regions and platforms Working analytics skills including advanced Excel/Sheets (pivots, lookups, scenario modelling). Build Engineer

As a Build Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the build processes that ensure our development teams can efficiently compile, test, and package our game. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to set up and manage build environments, working on continuous integration systems and automating workflows. Your contributions will help streamline our workflow and enhance the productivity of the entire studio. Key Duties Include Support and maintain the build systems to ensure reliable builds for development and testing purposes. Automate build processes and workflows, using industry-standard tools and scripting languages. Collaborate with developers and QA to understand their requirements and optimise the build process accordingly. Monitor and troubleshoot build issues, providing quick resolutions to maintain the development flow. Document build processes and procedures to ensure that they are clear and accessible to the team. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture. Requirements Experience as a Build Engineer or in a similar role within the game development industry. Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Familiarity with build tools and version control systems such as Git or Perforce. Understanding of continuous integration and deployment methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting build issues. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A passion for gaming and a solid understanding of the game development process.
