Westfield is a newly opened student residence in 2022, featuring modern and comfortable interiors and comprehensive facilities. The residence primarily offers two room types: Ensuite (private bathroom with shared kitchen/living room) and Studio (private bathroom with open-plan kitchen). All bedrooms include a small double bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, and under-bed storage space. The kitchen area is equipped with full cabinetry and essential electrical appliances. Studio units allow occupancy by two people; please consult your advisor for specific application procedures.

 

Westfield features 24/7 CCTV surveillance and an electronic access control system throughout the building to ensure students’ safety. A 100MB internet connection is available across the entire building, meeting students’ daily academic and entertainment needs. Westfield is located southwest of Edinburgh city centre. Daily life nearby is highly convenient: within a 10-minute walk, you will find Sainsbury’s and ALDI supermarkets, as well as numerous restaurants offering diverse cuisines. It takes approximately 24 minutes to walk to Haymarket Railway Station, and about 30 minutes to walk to Edinburgh Napier University’s Merchiston Campus. Reaching the University of Edinburgh’s main campus by bus takes around 18 minutes.
