We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Mechanical Engineering Manager** to oversee the safe, efficient, and exhilarating operation of our world-class rides and attractions. As a key part of our Maintenance Leadership Team, you'll manage the day-to-day performance and long-term reliability of mechanical systems, ensuring our guests enjoy magical moments in a safe environment. From ride vehicles and track systems to motors, brakes, and safety mechanisms---you'll be at the heart of our resort's operations. **What You'll Be Doing:** * Lead a skilled team to maintain, inspect, and service mechanical systems across the park. * Manage daily, weekly, and annual maintenance in line with OEM schedules. * Oversee critical safety systems, including sensors, brakes, and control systems. * Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical faults efficiently. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and OEMs for upgrades and repairs. * Support major annual ride overhauls and refurbishments. * Drive a proactive, safety-first culture while meeting tight operational deadlines. * Mentor and develop your team to meet the highest standards. **About You:** * A Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (accredited by a professional engineering institution). * Significant experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally in amusement, industrial, or heavy plant environments. * Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. * Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills. * Competent in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office. * A safety-first mindset and experience performing risk assessments. * Working at height experience and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions. **Why Join Us?** At Drayton Manor Resort, we're not just about rides---we're about*Creating Memories*.
