In one of the most stunning locations in the UK, don't take our word for it... see for yourself. **What you'll be doing** We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and experienced education leader to step into the role of Head of Education, Inclusion and Virtual School who can: * Develop and implement with key stakeholders, a whole system, integrated education service that aspires to provide the very best for children and young people. * Work to continuously improve educational outcomes and destinations for all, including those children and young people who are most in need. * Act as a strategic leader championing early support and safeguarding including the Staying Close' offer for care leavers, implementing the Children Not in School register and shaping school provision as defined by the extended duties of the virtual school. * Key strategic leader in implementing the social care reforms and Children's Well-being and Schools bill. **About You** If you have the drive and commitment to support this exciting journey we look forward to your application. You will have successful senior leadership and management experience within an educational setting or local authority. * You will have a graduate or equivalent qualification and qualified teacher status. * Have an understanding of current issues in education and the ability to ensure the innovative use of resources to improve productivity and quality outcomes. * Have proven influencing skills with an ability to proactively lead and deliver cultural changes to improve quality of service. * You will have excellent skills in teamwork, using your initiative, be forward thinking and an exemplary role model. * Given the context of our closeknit community you'll need to have a sophisticated understanding about the level of influence you will have as a community leader * Have an unwavering commitment to the welfare of all children and vulnerable adults. **The Isles of Scilly** The beautiful Isles of Scilly is set 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.
