It's an exciting time to join us as we expand and grow our teams in the region. **As a therapeutic support worker you will**: * Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager. * Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child. * Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, * Enjoy fun days out such as bowling and activities * Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning * Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations * Build friendships and trusting relationships * Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks * Empower them to make decisions about themselves **What do you need?** * We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient. * Great communication skills, positive and energetic. * Ability to remain calm in sometimes challenging situations. * A positive role model, wanting to spend time to encourage and build relationships. * Able to share interests with our young people. * You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
