The position of Shunter is an integral role in our operations team and involves driving a Tug/Shunt Unit, checking equipment for suitability, shunting trailers in and out of loading bays and securing loads internally within our premises. The nature of this role is physically demanding and includes opening and closing trailer curtains, connecting and disconnecting trailers and securing loads, so the ideal candidate should be physically fit and resilient in terms of manual working.
