Our West London based firm is expanding, we are looking to recruit a Criminal Solicitor with LAA Crime Category Supervisor status to supervise, manage and lead a team. Flexible working model and competitive salary. THE ROLE: The Criminal Solicitor will be joining a team of experienced and established Solicitors and Paralegals. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team, together with handling a heavy caseload of serious offences. You will proactively lead and manage a team of highly dedicated lawyers and be responsible for allocation of their work, ensuring it is compliant with the 2022 Standard Crime Contract. As an experienced Criminal Solicitor, you will be required to attend police station and Court appearances to conduct advocacy at first hearings and Trial, as well as meticulous case preparation. Please be aware this will require working some evenings and weekends to represent suspects detained at the police station. In addition to a competitive salary., you will get annual leave (including public holiday) bonus scheme, pension scheme, flexible hours and agile working. THE CANDIDATE: The appointed Criminal Solicitor will ideally be at least 10 years' PQE with LAA Crime Category Supervisor status and have a proven background and experience within a similar role with previous supervisory experience. You will be able to manage, guide and lead others and offer constructive criticism and feedback to the team members to enable them to improve their performance.
