You will be supported by an on-call management team, available 24/7, providing ongoing guidance and oversight throughout your shift. **Key Responsibilities:** * Delivering person-centred care and support, tailored to each individual's needs. * Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication support and household tasks. * Support young adults in achieving their personal goals and developing independence. * Provide emotional support and companionship, creating a positive environment. * Implement behaviour management strategies where required, promoting safety and stability. * Ensure adherence to care plans and maintain accurate records of care provided. * Support Individuals to appointments, social activities, or community outings as needed. * Uphold the dignity, privacy, and rights of individuals at all times. * Engage in direct work with young adults, acting as a positive role model. * Work collaboratively with the management team, adhering to policies and procedures. **Requirements:** * Minimum age of 21 years (Essential). * Previous experience in care or support work is desirable (minimum of 2 years preferred). * Level 3/4 in Health \& Social Care (Desired). * Care Standards Certificate (Desired). * Hold a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to obtain business insurance (Desired). * DBS on the Update System (Essential). * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport with young adults and their families. * Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting. * Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays each month. * A compassionate, non-judgemental, and empathetic approach. * Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. * Willingness to engage in mandatory and additional training relevant to the role. **Salary \& Benefits:** * £13.50 -£14.50 per hour, based on experience. * Company pension scheme. * Mileage costs while on duty. * Continuous management support and oversight. * Fully funded training package *Please note: At this time, we are unable to offer work sponsorship to applicants.* Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults by providing compassionate and empowering care.
